Description of the Qualification

This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of information and
communications technology (ICT) roles who have established specialised skills in a technical ICT function.
Individuals in these roles carry out moderately complex tasks in a specialist field, working independently, as part of a team or leading a deliverable with others. They may apply their skills across a wide range of industries, business functions and departments, or as a business owner (sole trader/contractor).

Entry Requirements

There are no specific entry requirements for this qualification outlined in the qualification description.
However, prior to enrolling in this course the students might either:

  • be of a minimum of 18 years of age, and
  • provie evidence of English Level of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent, and 
  • complete a screenning interview with athe Academic Manger of his representative to assess suitablity and capability in completing this qualification; and/or
  • If it is determined that the student need to complete a Lanugage, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) test, the student will be required to complete a LLN test to determine whether the student might be suitabel for this qualification or any supporting services might be required during the student's enrolment as SIIT.

Delivery Arrangements

This course is delivered as a combination of classroom workshops and/or online
training consisting of a minimum of 20 hours per week.

SIIT is using MOODLE online learning platform for its online learning components. Satisfactory course progress must be maintained throughout the entire course.
