With the cancellation of the internal NAATI Certification test from early 2018, CCL test (The Credentialed Community Language Test) is introduced as a replacement for students who would like to get the 5 community language points for points-based visa applications.
The test includes two dialogues and each one is approximately 300 words. However, students cannot be certified as an interpreter by passing the CCL test.
Students will face the difficulties for test booking as NAATI cannot arrange enough test places for all candidates. Most students’ test dates are several months even half year after their application submission dates. Therefore, getting prepared is crucial in this situation.
