As a leading educational provider in its field, Sydney Institute of Interpreting and Translating (SIIT) delivers quality training programs to both overseas and local students. SIIT is now recruiting a motivated individual to join our dynamic team to fulfill the position of a Student Service Officer at our Melbourne campus. This is a fast-paced role focusing on quality student service and related duties: Duties & responsibilities 1. Reception of clients including students and visitors; 2. Referrals of enquiries to various departments or personnel; 3. Collection of daily students' attendance records from trainers including the collection of medical certificates, leave applications forms; 4. Updating of students records and file management; 5. Making appropriate referrals to other sections forfurther services including the issues concerning the attendance and academic progress of particular student; 6. Assisting in organizing entry examinations ; 7. Assisting in marketing activities and special events if required; 8. Other administrative duties as allocated by the Course Coordinator or his representative if required; To be successful in this position, candidate will possess: 1. Bachelor of Commerce in accounting major or above; 2. Fluent in four English language skills, understanding of another world language (e.g., Mandarin) will be viewed as a bonus, but not a must; 3. Competent or advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook); 4. Ability to meet challenging deadlines with great attention to details; 5. Possessing qualities such as, being responsible, reliable and committed to student service and related tasks; 6. At least 1.5 to 2-year working experience in student services; 7.
